Under the
authority of the UN Humanitarian Coordinator (HC)/UN Country Team (UNCT),
and in close coordination with LRRRC, the Humanitarian Operations
Center (HOC) serves as a common platform and the entity for the
coordination of UN common services in support of the operational
activities undertaken by humanitarian organizations, including UN
agencies and NGO, responding to the emergency in Liberia
