HIV/AIDS Reference Materials
The following
are three toolkits to HIV/AIDs programming which may guide
agencies in their work. One is the Oxfam guide to HIV/AIDS
mainstreaming in emergencies, one is the IASC guidelines on HIV/AIDs
and one is a Save the Children toolkit on mainstreaming
HIV/AIDS.
Who
Does What Where in Health
The HIC has
established a database for tracking the health-related
activities of NGOs in districts throughout Liberia. All
agencies working in the health sector are asked to provide
information about health assessments and planned or currently
implemented programs for inclusion in this database. To submit
information, please return the
Health Activities Tracking form to the HIC or by email
to
hic.liberia@undp.org. Instructions for filling out this
form are available
here.
WFP Liberia
Database for NGOs in HIV/AIDS Programming
WFP Liberia is about to establish a
database on the Profile of NGOs in Liberia that are currently in
HIV/AIDS Programming and those that have the capacity and intend to
get into HIV/AIDS Programming for possible WFP support. Interested
agencies are asked to return the questionnaire below to Alison
Gardner at WFP by 26 march 2004.
We would appreciate were you to provide the additional
information appended to your profile obtained from the WHO Ngo
Directory and forward us same to Alison Gardner, WFP, Mamba Point
