Naming conventions
In most cases attempts are made to utilize the most common name, as assessed across multiple sources, for  the primary name. Initiatives are underway with the Sudan Central Bureau of Statistics (CBS)  to acquire the official names for villages in Arabic and English. Our names will be updated accordingly as this progresses.
